May 8, 2008, China – Xiamen Huadian’s efforts on high voltage GFM 126 kV SF6 gas insulated metal-clad switchgear has been finally paid back by the first orders in Shandong, China. It remarked its beginning step into the Chinese HV GIS market.
The development on GFM 126kV was started by the HV expertise from GELPAG and Xiamen Huadian from 2005. Based on the latest technology on SF6 circuit breaker and SF6 gas insulated metal-clad switchgear, GFM 126kV has significant advantages due to its compact and modular design, self-extinguished and hydraulic spring mechanism etc.
The first orders are from Shandong province, a seaside area, with harsh outdoor environmental conditions which brings a big challenge to GIS products, enabling GFM to prove its wiring flexibility, longevity and high reliability by its performance.
