May 25, 2008, Munich- Xiamen Huadian Elite Partner International Summit Year 2007 was successfully held in Munich, Germany, following its first event in Thailand, 2005. The Summit attracted more than 40 representatives from agents, partners and sales elites, located in China, Australia, South Africa, Poland and Malaysia. GELPAG’s Managing Director, Mr. Athanasios Pourikas, and Director, Mr. Guenter Leonhardt, were also invited to attend this big event.
It was started by Mr. Charles Sher, Managing Director of Xiamen Huadian. Mr. Sher first made a welcome speech, extending the grateful for the efforts all along by the attendances. Then, he made a speech on “The Global Approach of Huadian”, giving a specific picture of Huadian’s history, current status and bright future.
GELPAG, as the shareholder and technical supporter of Xiamen Huadian, greatly supported this summit. The Managing Director, Mr. Athanasios Pourikas made an overall introduction from operation strategy to products. The Director, Mr. Guenter Leonhardt made a speech highlighting the Global HV Switchgear Technology Development. In his speech he mentioned that, Xiamen Huadian and GELPAG had started the development on HV GIS products from 2005 and successfully won the first order. Xiamen Huadian and GELPAG will put more resources on HV switchgear market for a higher level development.
Xiamen Huadian never stops the technical communication and cooperation with international companies. The typical example is like the AREVA T&D Xiamen Vacuum Interrupter Co., Ltd, which is a joint venture founded by Xiamen Huadian and AREVA in 2005. Mr. Joachim Dams and Mr. Soo Pow Leong from AREVA attended the summit and made an introduction on AREVA’s profile. Both parties wish a consistent and positive cooperation in the future.
With the success of this summit, all attendances expect the reunion in Australia 2 years later. Then a greater joy and success will be shared.
